Dear Listener,

I’m excited about what‘s happening at Riverland Life FM!  We’re reaching out into our community and beyond, with our new website, online streaming of our station, growing Facebook community, new Board and our enthusiastic volunteer team.

One of the things I value most about this ministry is that it can reach people with Good News and hope, even when they have no connection to a church.  Not only that, through radio, Good News can reach them in a quiet moment alone, or while they are driving in their car.

According to recent sector surveys, one in five people listen to community radio each week.  But if only one in twenty of the 34,000 people who live in the Riverland listen to Riverland Life FM, then we have a ministry to 1700 people!

I listen to your radio station every week, mostly when I am driving to and from work.  I enjoy the variety of music and your morning inspirational messages.

Between now and the end of the year we need to raise $15,000, to pay the broadcast site lease for the first six months of the new year, and to pay our annual APRA fee, which will increase due to our new permanent license status.

As you’re probably aware, 100.7 Riverland Life FM is a listener-supported station, which means we rely on donations and sponsorship from the community to stay operating from year to year.  We have no government funding or parent-company that supports us with financial assistance, thus we rely on our faithful listeners and supporters; people like you!
