Arthur's Bazaar at Loxcare
Loxcare is situated on the corner of Drabsch St and Pyap St in Loxton. Arthur's Bazaar is at Shop 17 Drabsch St Loxton (opposite Police Station), open Tuesday 9am to 2pm, Thursday 9am to 4.30pm and Friday 9am to 2pm. Living Waters Christian Community Library
Living Waters Christian Community Library has a large range of resources available to the public, including books on Christian living, spiritual growth and ministry, biographies, fiction and magazines, teaching DVDs and movies, children's DVDs and Christian music CDs. First and Third Thursdays - ADRA Community Food Pantry
If you're a pensioner, unemployed or on a low income, you can save big on food bills at the ADRA Food Pantry. Open on the first and third Thursday of the month, from 1pm to 4pm at the Genesis Building, Riverland Adventist Centre, 19 Sunrise Court (off the Old Sturt Highway) in Berri. Long shelf life food stocks, with near or post best by dates, available at very low Donation prices, and some fresh fruit and vegetables subject to availability. Thursday 15th June - Australian Breastfeeding Association Coffee Morning
The ABA Riverland Group is having a coffee morning with guest speaker, Speech Pathologist Kate Slee, from 10am to 12 noon on Thursday 15th June at the Resource Centre (Rainbow Room) Seekamp St Berri. State Director of Family Voice, David d'Lima will be speaking at Living Waters Christian Community, 14 Edward St Loxton, on Saturday 1st July from 7.30-9am at an Open Breakfast, and also from 2pm to 4pm for 'Conversations with David', and at 10am for the 10am worship service. Saturday 17th June - Golf Extravaganza
The Golf Extravaganza Ugandan School Fundraiser is being held from 9.30am on Saturday 17th June at the Berri Golf Course, in aid of the Excel Talents Academy School in Mbale Uganda, a mixed day and boarding school from Nursery to Year 7, to build dormitories and an Administration building. 'Four Ball Better Ball' teams of four, tee off from each hole from where the best shot lands. Cost is $10 per person. Hamburgers, sausages and drinks available at a small cost and golf buggies for hire from the Gold Pro Shop. Thursdays - Berri Library Preschoolers Programme
The Berri Library in Kay Avenue runs sessions for 0-5 year olds which include a story, song and a craft activity, from 10.30am to 11.30am on Thursdays during school terms. The sessions are free with no need to book. Programmes available at the library - school holiday programmes are also held.

Rise to the challenge, bring a friend and make your family proud at the Reacharge Youth's 'I'm A Teenager Get Me Out Of Here'. For High School Youth, cost is $5 which includes tea. Live Life Loud is a youth worship event for teenagers to come together, 6pm-8.30pm Friday 30th June at Salt Church 4 Penaluna Ct Waikerie. Cost is $5 which includes a hotdog, chips and a drink. More details on Facebook.
Friday 30th June - Sunday 2nd July - Youth Rally Weekend
The Riverland seventh-day Adventist Church invites you to a weekend for the youth at the Seventh-day Adventist Centre, 19 Sunrise Court in Berri, with guest speaker Pastor Jeff Parker presenting 'Why Grace Wins' on Friday 30th June at a dinner starting 6pm, followed by a service at 10am on Saturday 1st July, with fellowship potluck, Jesus Walk, a bonfire and BYO camp cook out food. Then come along on Sunday 2nd July between 10am and 2pm to get your car washed by the youth for a donation to the ADRA food pantry, and enjoy a sausage sizzle and a drink while you wait. Cooking With Confidence is a free 12-week course for people 17 years and older who are unemployed and not enrolled in study.
